Profile

Nisha is a senior paralegal in the clinical negligence team, working out of both the Cambridge and London offices.

She assists solicitors in the team with cases against NHS trusts, general practitioners and care homes. Her day to day responsibilities include liaising with and maintaining excellent relationships with clients, medical experts, hospitals and counsel; requesting and reviewing medical records; drafting witness statements; and attending and note taking during client meetings and conferences with counsel and multiple experts.

Nisha joined Penningtons Manches Cooper in 2017.

Recent work highlights

Assisting more senior members of the team with high value cases involving complex brain injuries, the delayed diagnosis of cancer, IVF, gynaecology and psychiatric claims.
Updating and maintaining a central medical records system across the London and Cambridge offices.
Attending a joint settlement meeting relating to a secondary victim claim where a six figure settlement was secured for the client.
