Nicola is a senior associate in our Oxford office’s Corporate practice. She has experience on a wide variety of matters including mergers and acquisitions, disposals, corporate restructures, joint ventures, and equity funding. She also advises on general shareholder and board advisory work and spent more than nine months on secondment to a leading investment fund management firm.

Nicola acts for both private and public companies from family run businesses to multi-national corporations, across a broad range of sectors.

After qualifying in 2013, Nicola practised in a US firm in the City of London. She joined Penningtons Manches Cooper in early 2015.

Recent work highlights

  • Representing the shareholders of European manufacturer Norbar Torque Tools during the sale of the group to NYSE listed Snap-On Inc. for US$72 million.
  • Advising the management team on Lyceum Capital’s £50 million acquisition of a majority stake in Timico Technology Group, a leading managed cloud service provider.
  • Assisting with the sale of Bush and Company, a provider of expert witness, immediate needs assessment and case management services, on its sale to NAHL Group Plc for approximately £28 million.
  • Advising on the sale of Cromptons Healthcare to MIP, a private equity backed, Canadian-based supplier of high performance reusable healthcare products.
