Kim Stephenson, Associate at Penningtons Manches

Kim is an associate in our San Francisco office advising US entities and individuals looking to set up or expand their business into the UK on their UK legal needs. A tri-qualified lawyer (England & Wales, California and New Zealand), she has extensive experience in general commercial litigation, shareholder disputes, contentious intellectual property disputes, alternative dispute resolution and health and safety litigation, as well as both corporate and personal insolvency law.

Although her particular focus is in the technology sector, she also supports clients in sub-sectors such as private wealth, life sciences and capital markets. Alongside her contracts and litigation work, Kim assists with the provision of specific advice around the new General Data Protection Regulation, which comes into force in the UK in May 2018.

Kim joined Penningtons Manches Cooper in 2017 from an in-house role in San Francisco. She has previously held positions in the London offices of two leading law firms.
