Ernesto is a partner based in the Madrid office. He specialises in shipping, international commercial law and commercial dispute resolution and is a member of our emergency response team.
He advises on a wide range of shipping matters including marine insurance, charterparties and bills of lading disputes, pollution, and international shipbuilding and financing contracts for shipowners, cargo owners, insurance companies and P&I clubs. Ernesto also advises freight forwarders on the drafting of logistics contracts between major operators and their clients.
Recognised by the Legal 500 as “extremely responsible, efficient and reliable”, Ernesto has considerable experience in the acquisition and disposal of Spanish shipping companies by non-Spanish investors advising on corporate structuring, insolvency matters and international sale, agency and distribution contracts. He is a licensed yacht captain.
