Clare is a senior paralegal in the Court of Protection team in Basingstoke. She assists in the day to day management of deputyships and trusts and draws on her experience in welfare rights to advise clients on benefit queries, ensuring they receive the support that they are entitled to. Clare also uses her benefits and welfare expertise to assist in the preparation of witness statements for litigators of personal injury claims.
Before joining Penningtons Manches Cooper in 2018, Clare worked for Hampshire County Council in its Court of Protection service. She has also worked for a homelessness charity, providing welfare benefits guidance and representation to vulnerable adults, professionals and those affected by cancer through Macmillan Cancer Support.
Clare studied Law at the University of Warwick with an additional year spent studying international modules at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands. She then completed her Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School.
