Angela is a partner in the banking and finance team. She advises on a wide range of financing transactions including complex structured finance, real estate finance, development finance, asset based lending and corporate lending deals. She also holds the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment Level 3 Islamic Finance Qualification providing her with in-depth specialist knowledge of Sharia law in a business context, including in relation to real estate finance, investment and development.

Angela acts for creditors (including banks and other stakeholders), insolvency office holders, and corporate debtors and their directors in all aspects of non-contentious restructuring and insolvency work. Her broad-based practice includes advising on a wide range of workouts, business recoveries, stressed financings/refinancings, administrations and liquidations.

She is recognised in The Legal 500 for being a ‘highly experienced insolvency lawyer’ who ‘gets to the nub of an issue very quickly and efficiently’.
