Profile

Shaan is an associate in the projects, development and construction team in London.

He advises on a range of non-contentious construction matters, and acts for a variety of clients including developers, housing associations, contractors and tenants. He has advised on and negotiated industry standard building contracts, professional appointments and collateral warranties.

Having joined the firm as a trainee, Shaan qualified in 2022. Prior to commencing his career, he studied biomedical sciences at Newcastle University, before converting to law.

Recent work highlights

Advising on the construction aspects of the pre-let of a considerable proportion of a new building in Cambridge.
Drafting and advising on the construction documents for several industrial units of a warehouse and logistics park.
Assisting a developer to obtain grant funding for a regeneration project financed by the government’s Future High Streets Fund.
