Profile

Francesca is an associate in the family law team in Guildford. She has experience providing advice to high net worth and international clients on the full range of family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, nuptial settlements, and children matters.

Her previous work includes advising on cases with complex financial and international issues, as well as assisting with alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration.

Francesca qualified as an associate in 2021, having completed her training contract with another leading City law firm. Prior to this, she completed her Graduate Diploma in law at the University of Law in Bristol, before graduating from the Legal Practice Course, with a distinction in her Master’s in professional legal practice.

Recent work highlights

  • Acting for a client in running an intensive and successful arbitration for an urgent, specific issue children matter, which involved organising, preparing for and attending the arbitration in under a week.
  • Advising and assisting on a complex international matter in relation to a property in New Zealand, which was held on trust for a couple who were in the process of divorcing in England.
  • Acting for a client in relation to child arrangements and a Schedule 1 claim, where the child resided in England and the client resided between and held assets in Portugal, England and the Philippines.
