Profile

Evelyn is an associate in the firm’s Piraeus office who specialises in marine law and shipping disputes. She advises on charterparty, bills of lading, stevedore damage claims, underperformance, bunkers, marine insurance, international trade, Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and charterparties’ disputes.

Prior to joining the firm, Evelyn worked for two years in a Greek shipping litigation firm and for one year as the head of the legal department in a Greek shipping company. This experience gave Evelyn considerable practical and commercial insight of the day-to-day work in a shipping company as she worked closely with various departments. She has also acted for the establishment of Greek offices for off-shore based corporations.

Evelyn qualified in Greece and is currently training to qualify as a solicitor of England and Wales. She has a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Athens and a Master’s degree in Maritime Law from the University of Southampton.
