Elizabeth is a partner in the private client team. She joined Penningtons Manches Cooper in 2017, having previously worked for over ten years at another leading law firm based in the City.

Elizabeth advises wealthy individuals on a broad range of UK tax and estate planning matters, focusing in particular on inheritance tax and capital gains tax planning. She has substantial experience in the taxation of UK resident non-domiciled individuals and the cross-border structures used by such clients for wealth protection and tax planning purposes. As such, Elizabeth also regularly advises trustees (both UK resident and non-UK resident) on a range of trust law and UK tax issues.

Elizabeth is a member of STEP, the leading organisation for private wealth professionals, and has been recommended in The Legal 500. She is also ranked in Chambers High Net Worth which says that she ’has a calm, measured and reassuring air about her’ and describes her as being ‘very, very good with clients’ as well as ‘greatly analytical and incredibly knowledgeable’.

  • Advising on the many recent legislative changes affecting UK residential and commercial property, and restructuring the ownership of UK property tax efficiently.
