Portrait of Remie Grice

Remie is an associate in the yachts team, and also works with the wider shipping litigation and ship finance teams. She acts for a range of clients including owners, charterers, ship yards, and insurers, advising on both contentious and non-contentious matters, often across multiple jurisdictions.

Her experience includes advising on sale and purchase contracts, build contracts, yacht financing, charter disputes, casualties (including yacht fires), marine personal injury claims, collision, salvage, and insurance disputes.

Prior to obtaining a distinction in her Legal Practice Course at BPP, Remie read law at university. She joined Penningtons Manches Cooper as a trainee in September 2019, and qualified as a solicitor in September 2021. Before joining the firm, Remie gained invaluable experience and knowledge of the yachting industry as a seafarer working on superyachts in the Mediterranean. She is also a member of the Young Professionals in Yachting society.
