Carlos is an associate in the construction and infrastructure team based in London. Dual qualified in both England and Wales and Spain, he has solid experience in dispute resolution, including international arbitration, litigation and mediation, and non-contentious matters related to energy and infrastructure projects.
Having worked as an in-house counsel, Carlos continuously seeks a greater understanding of his clients’ industries and is aware of the importance of risk assessment and providing clear, precise and practical advice to meet clients’ expectations.
Prior to joining Penningtons Manches Cooper in 2018, Carlos worked for an international contractor in the oil and gas and power generation industries, providing legal advice throughout the entire lifespan of concurrent projects in Europe, the Middle East and South America. He is a member of the Society of Construction Law, the Madrid Bar Association, the ICC Young Arbitrators Forum and the LCIA Young International Arbitration Group. Carlos is currently pursuing a part-time MSc in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution at King’s College London.
