Louisa is an associate in the intellectual property team and is based in the London office. She advises on a wide variety of intellectual property matters, with a particular focus on trademark protection and enforcement, both in the UK and internationally.

Her client base covers a range of sectors including retail, technology and education. Louisa is also a member of the firm’s fashion, luxury and lifestyle sector group, and the motorsports group.

Having qualified as a solicitor in 2019, Louisa joined Penningtons Manches Cooper in 2021, having previously worked for a leading New Zealand law firm.

Recent work highlights

Assisting with trademark disputes, including opposition proceedings and infringement claims, across the food and beverage industry, financial services, and media sectors.
Advising on new brands on behalf of a number of clients in the entertainment, hospitality and financial services sectors.
Assisting with the management of international rights portfolios on behalf of clients, and taking enforcement action internationally against parties that infringe clients’ rights.
