Lindsay is a senior associate in the corporate team in Oxford, specialising in venture capital and private company mergers and acquisitions. A key part of her practice involves working closely with founders and their management teams at points of change and helping them meet their goals. With a deep understanding of the business context, Lindsay advises on a range of challenges, including raising investment, incentivising employees, acquiring a business, protecting intellectual property, appointing new hires, finding the right exit strategy and outright sales.
Prior to joining Penningtons Manches Cooper in 2021, Lindsay worked for The Sunday Times Fast Track analysing and interviewing the fastest growing private companies in the UK, with a particular focus on hyper growth tech companies. She has also worked for the Imperial College Enterprise Lab with companies in the early stages of fund raising, and for several fast-growth Oxford SMEs putting in place post-investment management teams to help them scale.
Lindsay studied modern history at Oxford University, winning a scholarship to study international relations at Princeton University, and undertook her law conversion at Oxford Brookes. As well as being a qualified lawyer, she has also studied financial management and analytics, and has postgraduate qualifications in leadership coaching and the commercial implementation of inclusion and diversity strategies.
