Immigration expert sets out the challenges for tech start-up recruitment on Sky News Swipe

Leslie Sarma, immigration lawyer at Penningtons Manches, was interviewed by Sky News Swipe at the Makers Academy together with Russ Shaw of Tech London Advocates and Josephine Goube, head of Migreat, at the end of the Home Office Hours week which finished on Friday 18 July.

The interviews, which ran on Sky News throughout the weekend, discussed the immigration challenges for tech companies when recruiting international talent. Click here to see the full broadcast. The Penningtons Manches immigration team works closely with Tech London Advocates and the Home Office and ran a session on sponsor licensing for start-ups at the Home Office Hours event last week.

Makers Academy is a highly selective, 12 week full-time programme that teaches web development in London. Successful graduates are then introduced to London's top technology companies looking to hire entry-level developers.
