Graham is a senior associate (FCILEx) in the housing team. He has extensive experience in acting for affordable housing providers and supports the team through knowledge development.
He acts for housing associations of all sizes in charging their property portfolio and dealing with all aspects of their asset management programmes including stock transfers, large and small size property disposals (by auction and private treaty), rectification work and property buybacks.
I am a real estate lawyer who specialises in affordable housing. I advise housing providers of all sizes on their property requirements and provide practical and sensible advice to ensure efficient resolution of any potential issues.
Graham advises on the sale and purchase of both private and social housing properties through Shared Ownership, Social Homebuy, Homebuy, Right to Buy/Right to Acquire and Right to Shared Ownership. He also provides aftersales services including resales, staircasing, lease extensions (both formal and informal applications), enfranchisement and equity charge redemptions.
With over 20 years’ experience, Graham joined the firm in 2007 and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, having qualified in 2011. He has previously worked in the in-house legal team of a large housing association and has extensive knowledge of both the internal and external issues affecting the sector.

She is skilled at varying her approach depending on her clients’ needs, which can range from advice on senior executive exits to support on large-scale corporate redundancies. Laura, a member of the Employment Lawyers’ Association, also provides training to clients on a cross-section of issues, including employment law updates or refresher training on subjects such as sexual harassment and bullying. She recognises that each client is different and is adept at understanding their ambitions and providing appropriate strategic legal advice. Laura is a member of the firm’s socioeconomic committee.
