As technology advances, the risk of fake and deepfake evidence undermining the integrity of court proceedings grows. This event explores the tools and knowledge needed to help identify and challenge falsified evidence in court proceedings.
  
Our keynote speaker:
Our event will be opened by Mr Justice David Waksman, a highly respected judge of the High Court of England and Wales. Mr Justice Waksman has extensive experience in handling complex legal cases involving advanced technology. His role as the Judge in Charge of the Technology and Construction Court and Judge of the Commercial Court underscores his expertise in dealing with technological advancements and their implications for the legal system.

Our panel session:
Our panel session will follow and cover key areas relating to faked and deepfake evidence, including:

  • Demonstrating deepfakes: Legal and technology experts will discuss the use of technology in manipulating and generating fake evidence, including the creation, identification and countermeasures in litigation.
