£2.6 million settlement for cerebral palsy caused by birth injury
Our client, a 14-year old boy, suffered severe cerebral palsy, epilepsy and learning difficulties as a result of a hospital's alleged failure to identify foetal distress and to carry out an emergency Caesarean section.
He is left requiring 24-hour care, unable to speak and dependent on a wheelchair for his mobility.
We also advised on the appointment of a professional receiver to manage our client's future financial affairs.
