The appointed costs lawyer will have significant experience of both inter parties costs and solicitor/client costs work in the field of clinical negligence and personal injury claims, with knowledge of different forms of funding including conditional fee agreements with after the event insurance, legal aid and before the event insurance. The successful candidate will work well in a team environment, and demonstrate an ability to innovate and streamline processes while monitoring outcomes and performance, as well as advise a fee-earning team on costs issues. Our construction team is looking for a full time associate with 0-5 years' PQE to join our London office. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working at a large firm with an established construction team. Experience of procurement and contracting strategies, funding and financing agreements, contract tendering and frameworks and security documentation including advance payment bonds is desirable. The candidate must also demonstrate the ability to work as a team player and build strong client relationships.
